Part of the “I JUST CAN’T TAKE ’EM OFF” campaign.
The idea was to feature people wearing the jeans in situations where you normally wouldn’t.
For this shoot, we went lobstering during Miami’s lobster mini season, where catching them is legal but highly regulated. The designated zones had super shallow waters and high turbidity, which made underwater photography nearly impossible. So after catching lobsters legally, we swam into an off-limits zone with clearer water to get the shot. A marine warden pulled us over, and for a second, it looked like we were facing a $500 fine and 60 days in jail. But once he saw me in the water, fully submerged and wearing jeans, he believed our story let us off with a warning.
